The Blair boys golf team competed on back-to-back days to open the week.
The Bears played Oakland Golf Club on Tuesday after Monday's eighth-place finish during the Bob Simpson Classic at Ashland Golf Club.
“Windy day,” BHS coach Ross Udey said of the latter. “Had some good holes and some really, really bad.”
Easton Chaffee led the Bears in 21st place with an 18-hole 89 in Ashland. Cole Truhlsen added 92 strokes to the team's 370 total, while Jake Stirek totaled 93. Adam Grote carded a 96 and Ben Hagedorn shot a 98.
Norris took the team title with 56 less shots than Blair, while Elkhorn's Sam Arnold took just 73 swings to claim individual honors.
The next day, Blair faced more wind in Oakland. Coach Ross Udey said the Bears struggled, though the junior varsity lineup provided highlights. It finished second, while Luke Ladwig shot the low JV score — 51.
The varsity, meanwhile, was fourth with 204 strokes. Chaffee shot his team's low score, a 48.
