CITY OF ARLINGTON 08420.001 AUDITORIUM RR RENOVATION JANUARY 2022 SECTION 001116 INVITATION TO BID Sealed Proposals for the construction of “Arlington Auditorium Restroom Renovation,” Schemmer Pro- ject No. 08420.001, will be received by the Village Clerk at 245 N 2nd Street, PO Box 370, Arlington, NE 68002, until 10:00 am on the 9th day of February 2022, and thereafter will be read aloud. Bids received after the time indicated will not be accepted. The work is generally described as follows: Restroom renovations Proposals will be taken for said construction work listed above. Project will be awarded as a single com- bined contract. A Pre-bid meeting will be held for this project on January 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Bidders shall meet at the Arlington Auditorium located at 410 W Elm St, Arlington, NE 68002. All bidders are encour- aged to attend. No other time is scheduled for inspection of the project area. All Proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the Architect and must be accompanied by Bid Security of not less than 5% of the amount bid. Bid Security to be made payable to the Treasurer of the Village of Arlington as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder neglects or refuses, to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance herewith. The successful bid- der will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. Copies of the contract documents are on file with the Village of Arlington for examination by bidders.
