Arlington students earn awards at conference art show

Several Arlington High School artists received awards from the 2024 Nebraska Capitol Conference Art Show held April 10 at Raymond Central High School.

Below are the following winners:

Oil/Tempera/Acrylic Paint: Libby Stork, "Sand in My Toes" — second place and Outstanding Artist award; Riley Fisher, "Purple Rain" — first place; Ally Meyer, "Be You" — first place; Cameron Hancock, "Black Hole" — first place.

Pencil Drawing: Emily Marcucci, "Spirit of the West" — first place; Ally Meyer, "African Elephant" — second place; Valeria Carvajal, "Our Messiah" — third place; Kaylie Herman, "The Saddle" — third place; Riley Fisher, "Barn Owl" — third place; April Klein, "The Boot" — second place.
