AHS drops baseball game at Raymond Central

The Arlington baseball team dropped to 5-8 Monday with a 4-1 loss at Raymond Central.
The Mustangs scored three first-inning runs and never looked back, improving to 3-4 this season.
Senior Nick Smith plated the Eagles' lone run, while Braden Monke went 2-for-3 with a double. Pitcher Tyler Ott struck out five batters in 4 1/3 innings, while Grange Suhr struck four in his own work on the mound.
After the baseball program competes Thursday in Wahoo, AHS hosts a tournament today and Saturday at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Its first game is 2:30 p.m. today against Douglas County West.
