The holiday high school sports break is underway, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate Nannen Physical Therapy Athletes of the Week, too.
The latest honorees are Savanah Roan, Jaxson Burns and Presley Olberding.

Savanah Roan, Blair wrestling: The BHS wrestler celebrated senior night with two pins, helping her team win the Two River Ruckus quadrangular. She stopped her two opponents in just 2 minutes and 13 seconds total. Special recognition goes to wrestler Jo Inget, who also picked up two wins during the Ruckus.

Jaxson Burns, Arlington basketball: The Eagles sophomore made four 3-pointers against Wisner-Pilger, finishing with 20 points. His breakout showing from beyond the arc helped push AHS to the win. Special Arlington mention goes to Emme Time and Trent Koger, who also had 20-point-plus games last week.

Presley Olberding, Fort Calhoun wrestling: The freshman was third at 113 pounds during the predominantly Class A Tom Dineen Invitational at Omaha Creighton Prep. He was 3-1 overall with a decision win and two pins. Special recognition goes to Raeann Massey, who led the Pioneers across two basketball routs earlier in the week.

Congrats to everyone mentioned and please enjoy your time with your loved ones in the coming days.
