Our Nannen & Harte Physical Therapy Athletes of the Week have hit record-breaking status.

Arlington softball player Cadie Robinson and Fort Calhoun volleyball standout Olivia Quinlan set school records during competition last week, forcing me into including them as their schools' honorees.

J'Shawn Unger of the Blair football team, meanwhile, didn't set a new school mark during his squad's 42-3 win at Ralston. He did, however, score a touchdown apiece on offense and defense, which is pretty darn good, too.

Now, as another reminder, my Athlete of the Week work for the week isn't finished quite yet. We're not voting on social media anymore after last school year's feedback, but there will be a Nannen & Harte video interview with my selection for the overall Washington County Athlete of the Week coming.

So, please share these Washington County athletic accomplishments and be on the lookout for a new interview online at enterprisepub.com/sports this Wednesday.

Now, some details concerning the kids we're congratulating this week.

Cadie Robinson, Arlington softball: No one in Eagles history has more career RBIs than the senior catcher. She recorded her 92nd during AHS' 13-run second inning against Raymond Central on Sept. 6, topping the 91 RBIs of former record holder Beanie Luttig. Notably, Robinson is batting at a .531 average this fall.

Olivia Quinlan, Fort Calhoun volleyball:  The Pioneers' setter was key to her team's five-set victory against Omaha Brownell-Talbot in more ways that one. Behind the service line, she amassed 12 aces, breaking the 2002 mark of 11 set by Nancy Peitzmeier.

J'Shawn Unger, Blair football:  A two-way starter, the Blair Bear scored a touchdown apiece on offense and defense against the Ralston Rams. He caught a 33-yard scoring pass from Bode Soukup, evading tacklers to get into the end zone, before intercepting a third-quarter pass and racing it in for six more points untouched.
