VILLAGE OF ARLINGTON BOARD OF TRUSTEES BUDGET HEARING MINUTES September 19, 2022 The Budget Hearing and Budget Summary of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Arlington, Nebraska, was held at the Arlington Village Hall, 245 N 2nd Street, Arlington on September 19, 2022. Board Chairman Paul Krause called the hearing to order at 6:35 p.m. Roll call was taken as follows: Travis Kraemer, present; Scott Pokorny, present; Jason Wiese, Paul Krause, present. Notice of the hearing was given in advance by publication in the Arlington Citizen, a designated method for giving notice as shown by the Affidavit of Publication attached to these minutes. Notice of the meeting was given in advance by publication on the Village of Arlington Website and was posted at the Village Hall, Post Office and Bank. Notice of this hearing was given to the Village Board members and a copy of their acknowledgment of receipt of notice and the agenda is attached to the minutes. Availability of the agenda was communicated in the advance notice and in the notice to the Board of Trustees of this hearing. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened hearing was open to the attendance of the public. Chairman Krause noted the posting of the Open Meetings Act as posted on the wall by the entrance of the Conference Room. Chairman Paul Krause stated the purpose of the hearing was to review the annual proposed budget for fiscal year 2022-2023. Village Accountant, Ric Ortmeier reviewed the budget summary and items which result in a decrease in the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Total expenditures budgeted for fiscal year 2022-2023 is $1,683,326.02. Following discussion Chairman Krause asked if there were any questions or comments from the public. There were none. Jason Wiese moved for adjournment from the Budget Hearing and Budget Summary. Travis Kraemer seconded the motion. Roll call vote was taken. Motion carried 4-0.
