Ruby C. Hagerbaumer, 79 years, of Arlington, Neb., passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at her home.
Ruby was born on May 21, 1945, to William and Sandra (Gladden) Lesline in Harrison County, Iowa. She graduated from Logan-Magnolia High School in 1963. After high school, she worked as a secretary for insurance companies. Ruby worked most of her life at the Joslyn Art Museum until retiring in 2011. On Aug. 14, 1976, she married Leewane Hagerbaumer at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair, Neb. In 1979, Ruby and Leewane resided in Arlington, Neb.
Ruby was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington. She enjoyed singing in the choir at church. Ruby loved reading, caring for her roses, chocolate and riding on the motorcycle with Leewane.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frank Lesline; sister, Donna (Arnold) Dickman; brothers-in-laws, John Maines and Ike Fox. She is survived by her husband, Leewane; sisters, Lorraine Moore, Bonnie Maines, Billie Fox, Sharry (David) Ringler and FloCelia (Dan) Kinney; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Arlington, Neb. The Rev. Rick Kanoy and Rev. Jason Duley will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington, Neb. Burial will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery near Arlington, Neb.
