Arlington High School runner Hailey O'Daniel was recently announced as an all-state cross-country performer by the Nebraska Coaches Association.
The junior earned seventh last month during the NSAA State Championships meet in Kearney. She was recognized alongside fellow Class C competitors Lilly Kenning of Milford, Sidney's Talissa Tanquary, Liston Crotty of Auburn and Kearney Catholic's Jaelyn Witter.
Ogallala's Lindee Henning, meanwhile, was Class C's Super-State honoree.
O'Daniel is a multi-sport athlete at AHS, having also competed in basketball and track and field during her prep career. She also competes in rodeo, qualifying for the National High School Finals Rodeo as recently as this past summer.
