Softball teams from Arlington, Blair and Fort Calhoun High School participated in postseason tournaments Monday.
The Blair Bears advanced past the subdistrict round with a pair of victories, while the seasons of AHS and FCHS came to an end.

Class B No. 3 BHS hosted the Class B-2 Subdistrict bracket on Monday, defeating both Platteview and Omaha Mercy to move onto the district final round, which will take place 10 a.m. Friday against Crete. The best-of-3 series will be played at the Youth Sports Complex.
The Bears first beat Platteview 10-0 on Monday with Nessa McMillen and Josie Ulrich hitting home runs. They then beat the Monarchs 3-1 with Kalli Ulven striking out seven and earning the pitching win, according to Brian Abrahams with 94.7 FM.
FCHS closes year 11-13
The Fort Calhoun softball team, meanwhile, went 1-1 Monday during the Class C-1 Subdistrict Tournament in Falls City. It closed the fall 11-13 overall.
The Pioneers reached the finals of the C-1 Tournament with a 9-1 win against Tekamah Herman. They then fell in the title game, 11-3, to the host team.
Arlington goes 0-1
The Eagles played six innings at the Class C-2 Subdistrict Tournament in Yutan on Monday, falling to Freeman 10-2.
Senior Cadie Robinson plated Arlington’s runs with a double in her final high school at-bat. Her team closed the season with a 12-13 record.
