The first Nannen & Harte Physical Therapy Athlete of the Week of the new school year is Britt Nielsen of Arlington, who also earned MaxPreps/NFCA High School Player of Week honors. The Eagle went 10-for-13 with four home runs and 13 RBIs during her team's 4-1 start.

Nielsen was recognized by Enterprise Media Group, and Nannen & Harte PT, alongside Blair's Kalli Ulven and Lucie Larsen of Fort Calhoun.
