Arlington boys basketball splits 2-game road weekend

Koger leads Eagles with 26 combined points during 1-1 stint

The Arlington boys basketball team hit the road back-to-back nights on Friday and Saturday.
Coach Jake Polk's Eagles won one and the lost the other, falling to 6-6 overall.
On Friday, AHS kept Raymond Central to just one victory this season, beating the Mustangs 47-33 on the road. Kieryn Grothe led the Eagles' effort with 16 points, adding three assists, five steals and two blocks, too.
Trent Koger notched 12 AHS points and 16 rebounds as well, while Oliver Ladehoff totaled 10 points. Guard Schuyler Logemann was 2-for-2 from inside the arc and finished with nine points.
Colton Dubas, meanwhile, scored 15 points for 1-10 Raymond Central.
Then, on Saturday, the Eagles dropped a game at 10-2 Fremont Bergan, 74-52. Coach Polk's team trailed just 16-13 after one period, but were outscored 22-6 in the second.
Koger finished with a team-high 14 points, while Ladehoff notched 13 points and Jaxson Burns scored 10.
