Weather delays start of high school baseball season

The Arlington, Blair and Fort Calhoun baseball teams all faced postponements and cancellations during the first weekend of the season.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday games were called off due to wet and cold weather.
Fort Calhoun's season opener against Omaha Concordia was moved to noon on April 1. It's game with Twin River was postponed, but a new date wasn't immediately available.
Bennington, meanwhile, postponed its season opener with the Bears to 12:30 p.m. on April 15. Blair's games against Elkhorn and Nebraska City were postponed as well, but new dates weren't immediately announced.
Arlington's opening games in Omaha were cancelled. The tournament at Fontenelle Park will not be rescheduled.
The Eagles' new official season opener was set for Monday in Wayne. BHS was to host Omaha Skutt on Monday and is scheduled to face Omaha Concordia today at 4:30 p.m. on Vets Field.
FCHS, meanwhile, hosts Wayne today at 4:30 p.m.
