VILLAGE OF ARLINGTON BOARD OF TRUSTEES SPECIAL MEETING AUGUST 4, 2022 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING LIQUOR LICENSE HEARING The Special Board Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Arlington, Nebraska, was held at the Arlington Village Hall, 245 N 2nd Street August 4, 2022. Board Chairman, Paul Krause, called the meeting to order at 6:38 p.m. Roll call was taken as follows: Travis Kraemer, present; Scott Pokorny, present; Gordon McGee, present; Jason Wiese present; Paul Krause, present. Notice of the hearing was given in advance by publication in the Arlington Citizen, a designated method for giving notice as shown by the Affidavit of Publication attached to these minutes. Notice of the meeting was given in advance by publication on the Village of Arlington Website and was posted at the Village Hall, Post Office and Bank. Notice of this meeting was given to the Village Board members and a copy of their acknowledgment of receipt of notice and the agenda is attached to the minutes. Availability of the agenda was communicated in the advance notice and in the notice to the Board of Trustees of this meeting. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. Chairman Krause noted the posting of the Open Meetings Act as posted on the wall by the entrance of the Conference Room. Jason Wiese made a motion to approve the Liquor License for Arlington Petroleum, LLC dba NP Mart 17 for the location at 810 W Elkhorn Street, Arlington, NE 68002. Scott Pokorny seconded the motion. Roll call vote was taken. Motion carried 5-0. Jason Wiese made a motion to approve a Single Day Liquor License for the Arlington Post Prom Committee for the Street Dance being held on August 13, 2022. Gordon McGee seconded the motion. Roll call vote was taken. Motion carried 5-0. Accountants Ric Ortmeier and Alyson Pedro were in attendance to review projected budget expenditures for the 2022-2023 FY.
