Times Gone By: County Sheriff's office competes in 2000 bench press competition

The first Nebraska Law Enforcement Bench Press Championships were contested in Fort Calhoun.
Washington County Sheriff's officers played a key role in the event contested in 2000. Brenda Anderson, Tim Anderson and Tom Lamb all set state records in their weight classes, while Ben Scherer also competed, moving weight.
