Bears' Larsen named to Shrine Bowl
Blair High School senior Dex Larsen was among the football all-star players to be announced last Saturday for July's 63rd Nebraska Shrine Bowl Game.
The Bear is an undefeated wrestler who finished his final BHS football season last fall as a Class B all-state recipient. The Wayne State College recruit will play opposite Omaha Westside standout Cade Haberman — a friend, Northern Illinois recruit and former Blair Youth Football Association teammate — on the North squad.
The Shrine Bowl is June 5 at Ron and Carol Cope Stadium on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Last summer, Blair's Brady Soukup, Fort Calhoun's Tyler Strauss and Arlington's Remington Gay took part.

Applications must be received by March 10.

Interested hunters can discover more information or sign up by contacting Park Ranger Peter Rea by phone (712-388-4803) or by the aforementioned email address.
