An Arlington grad will lead Omaha Buena Vista High School's first boys basketball team.
The Bison, who's school is set to open this August, announced Noah Borgmann as their first coach. The 2015 AHS graduate has experience leading teams at the Omaha Sports Academy as well at Lincoln Christian, where he was a varsity assistant and JV coach. In 2020, he coached against his father, Fort Calhoun assistant Ben Borgmann, in a district final game.
Borgmann played at Nebraska Wesleyan after earning Class C1 All-State honorable mention as a high school Eagle.
“Coach Borgmann is looking forward to bringing a high energy and fast-paced game to Buena Vista, and being the team in Nebraska that nobody wants to play!” Buena Vista posted on its official social media accounts. “Welcome Coach!”
