Mike Sibbernsen of Lincoln, formerly of rural Bennington, a 1988 Arlington High School graduate, passed away Jan. 27, 2022.
Mike was a University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate and was President of Commercial Contractors of Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents – Walter and Hazel Christiansen and Albert Sibbernsen as well as his ex-wife Angela Sibbernsen.
Survivors include his son, Hunter (Hannah) Sibbernsen of Lincoln, parents Steve and Carol Sibbernsen of Bennington, grandmother Peggy Sibbernsen, sister Penny (Rob) Vogt of Kennard, nieces Brooke (Clint) Belina and Rachel Vogt, and his nephew Blaine Vogt.
A celebration of life gathering will be held Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Reichmuth Funeral Home of Elkhorn.
