Trent Koger's final attempt at a game-tying 3-pointer missed as the Logan View/Scribner-Snyder boys basketball team topped Arlington on Tuesday, 34-31.
The Raiders (4-9 overall) scored seven fourth-period points at home to the Eagles' four, winning by that margin. Coach Tyler Spitser's squad dropped to 3-10 in defeat.
Koger may have missed late, but the AHS sophomore scored a team-best 13 points with a made 3 and five 2-point field goals. Senior Weston Wollberg added nine points, too, knocking down all three of the Eagles' made free throws.
Arlington was scheduled to play Nebraska City on Thursday and next competes Saturday during the first round of the Nebraska Capitol Conference Tournament. The 4:30 p.m. game against Tuesday's opponent — Logan View — will be played in Louisville.
