The Fremont swim team celebrated Senior Night with home girls and boys dual wins Tuesday against Lincoln Northeast.
Tigers coach David Struble said the boys' competition came down to the final event, too. Arlington junior Cade Arnett contributed to that 400-yard freestyle relay victory alongside teammates Connor Christ, Landon Lamson and John Monson.
The Eagle in a FHS swim cap also finished second in the boys' 50- and 100-yard freestyle races. Dathan Hansen, meanwhile, was fourth in the 100 and sixth in the 50.
On the girls' side, Arlington's Lizzie Meyer combined with three seniors — Grace Blick, Lucy Dillon and Karsen Jesse — to win the medley relay. She also finished second in both the 200 IM and 100 backstroke.
Blair freshman Ryleigh Schroeter, meanwhile, claimed first in both the 100-yard butterfly and backstroke for Fremont. She finished the butterfly race in a season-best 1:03.35.
Another Bear, Jane Busboom, earned her event win in the 400 freestyle relay. She was also third in the 200 IM as Tigers claimed the top-three finishes.
Fremont was scheduled back in the pool for a triangular on Thursday and next competes Feb. 5 in Elkhorn.
“We are getting close to our 'championship meet season,'” Struble wrote in his post-dual recap. “Kids are working hard, but looking forward to the meets ahead to swim even faster.”
