Arlington High School student-athlete Lizzie Meyer contributed to a Fremont event win Saturday during the Fete Fling Swimming Invitational in Elkhorn.
The Eagle's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Tigers won in 1:40.45, according to the Lincoln Journal Star. The victory helped the FHS girls finish third out of 10 teams with 314.5 points, while the Tiger boys were sixth.
Fremont — and its Washington County swimmers from Blair and Arlington — next competes Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Heartland Athletic Conference competition. The Friday and Saturday swimming events will take place in the Tigers' home pool at the Dillon Family Aquatics Center.
