Arlington golfers Kaylie Erwin and Sarah Rhea competed Tuesday during the Bennington Invitational at River Wilds Golf Club.
Cool weather conditions were welcome to both Eagles as they finished with 119 and 144 strokes, respectively.
“This is the best its been all season,” Rhea said of the temperature throughout the 18-hole round.
Erwin finished with 58 swings over the front nine holes after carding 61 on the back. The senior said she succeeded in getting to the greens.
“I was hitting good with my irons,” she said.
Rhea, meanwhile, took 73 swings on the front nine holes and 71 on the back. A highlight of her round was her playing partners, who she enjoyed golfing with.
Elkhorn South won the Bennington tournament with 369 strokes. The Storm's Alexa Eddie carded the individual low score — 89 — as well.
Arlington was scheduled to host a triangular with Blair and Elkhorn North on Thursday, and next competes at Fremont Golf Club on Tuesday morning. Golfers tee off at 9 a.m.
