Two Arlington High School students contributed Friday and Saturday as the Fremont Tigers competed during the Heartland Athletic Conference (HAC) Swim Meet in their home pool.
The FHS boys and girls each finished sixth in the team standings with Karsen Jesse logging the Tigers' lone conference title in the girls' 200-yard freestyle.
AHS' Josh Iossi and Elisabeth Meyer, meanwhile, combined to qualify for five HAC finals during Friday's prelims at the Dillon Family Aquatics Center. Iossi, a senior, qualified in the individual 50 freestyle, while also joining Fremont teammates in the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relay teams.
Connor Christ, John Monson, Nathaniel McClelan and their Eagle teammate were fourth during prelims in the 200, while Landon Lamson, Gabe Christ, Ethan Lefler and Iossi were ninth in the 400 event.
Meyer, meanwhile, was 13th in the individual 100 backstroke to qualify for Saturday's finals. She also joined Madelyn Buck, Lucy Dillon and Jesse in the 200 free relay after the lineup took fourth Friday.
While each Tiger team took sixth in the standings, the Lincoln Southwest boys and girls swept the HAC team titles during the two-day meet.
