Eagles beat Mustangs with 13-run inning

The Arlington High School softball team produced a 13-run inning Tuesday, topping Raymond Central on the road 13-0.
Kiersten Taylor's pitching victory pushed the Eagles' season record to 7-4, while Cadie Robinson set a school record for career RBIs — 92. The Mustangs, meanwhile, dropped to 2-12.
AHS' Britt Nielsen, Robinson, Hannah Stahlecker, Emery McIntosh and Taylor notched run-scoring swings during the 13-run second inning, while McIntosh and Tessa Spivey pushed across runs with bases-loaded walks. Spivey also scored on a passed ball during the frame.
The Eagles next play Saturday during a tournament at West Point's Timmerman Park.
