The Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating a rash of thefts from construction sites in the area.

On Nov. 23, at approximately 1:30 a.m., three people cut the lock off a trailer at a residential construction site along Gottsch Drive in Arlington.

According to the sheriff's office, it appeared two men entered the trailer, loading up several nail guns and power hand tools. A woman remained in the vehicle.

The sheriff's office is also investigating thefts from other construction sites in the area, but it has not been determined if the thefts are related to the vehicle seen in Arlington.

In one theft, electrical runs that had been installed in a house had been removed. The materials were valued at more than $5,000.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 402-426-6866.
