Washington County wresters from Blair, Arlington and Fort Calhoun competed Monday during the Oakland-Craig Junior Varsity Invitational.
Three Bears earned first-place honors in their weight classes at the event. Tyson Brown claimed a technical fall victory to win his title match at 106 pounds, while Kaden Sears' 47-second pin at 152 earned his own spot at the top of the podium.
BHS sophomore Seagan Packet-Trisdale, meanwhile, pinned Boone Central senior Cole Greek in 1:33 to earn the heavyweight crown.
Bears Seth Raymond (third place), Noah Kuefler (second) and Dylan Swanson (fourth) placed, too.
For Fort Calhoun, junior Haley Albertson was second in her Oakland-Craig girls bracket. Gage Nixon fell short of a medal at 106 pounds, but also picked up a major decision and sudden victory to reach the consolation semifinals.
The Pioneers' Owen Miller notched a pin at 126 as well.
Arlington had three wrestlers compete as well with two picking up wins. Izzy Sanchez earned a pin at 152 pounds, while Trinton McDuffee scored a technical fall in the 182 quarterfinals.
