County athletes earn academic all-state awards

The NSAA recently announced its spring recipients of the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association Academic All-State Awards with several Washington County athletes included.
The awards have been presented each year since 2006. Students are nominated by schools for their individual academic excellence, leadership and signification contributions in their NSAA activity, according to the list release.
Representing Blair High School baseball, boys golf, journalism, music, soccer, tennis, and track and field are Brady Brown, Conner O'Neil, Easton Chaffee, Landen Oppliger, Katelyn Crawford, Jacinta Flynn, Allie Dingfield, Ashlyn Just, Kip Tupa, Zyler Wyman, Trinity Back, Kaitlyn Johnson, Caitlyn Haggstrom, Jenna Murch-Shafer, Zach Lindau, Toby Ray, Makayla Baughman and Erika Roehrs.
Fort Calhoun's Zach Faucher, Austin Welchert, Ely Olberding, Lance Olberding, Katie Barta and Tess Skelton represented their school on the list, while Arlington's Trevor Denker, Blaine Vogt, Kailynn Gubbels, Mackinzey Jurey, Colby Grefe, Barrett Nielsen and Chase Andersen their's.
