The Arlington volleyball team picked up its fifth win of the season Tuesday, besting Ashland-Greenwood in straight sets.
The Eagles earned the 3-0 road victory 25-20, 25-19 and 25-19. Coach Katarina Nelson's team is 5-2 this season — just three wins shy of last season's total.
“We went for every ball,” the coach said. “All out. All game. All season.”
Middle hitters Kate Miller and Lizzie Meyer played well according to the coach, while Chase Andersen “had a ton of kills.”
AHS was scheduled to play Yutan on Thursday before Saturday's Stanton Invitational. Tournament play begins at 9 a.m.
