The Class C No. 7 Arlington softball team finished 1-2 Saturday during its home tournament at the Two Rivers Sports Complex.
The Eagles won their opener, but lost back-to-back games to Tekamah-Herman and Douglas County West to finish fourth in the eight-team tourney.
To start the day, coach Janelle Lorsch's team earned a 6-4, come-from-behind win against Centennial. AHS fell behind 4-1 before scoring four of its own runs during the fifth inning.
Emery McIntosh and Kiersten Taylor got the Eagles going during the breakout frame, singling to centerfield and over the third baseman's head. Hannah Stahlecker then walked to load the bases before Cadie Robinson drew another free base, pushing across her team's second run.
Taylor later scored on a passed ball before Robinson did, too, with Julia Landauer drawing her own walk. All tied at 4, a Hailey Brenn swing put the ball in play, giving Gracie Herman — who'd earlier reached base on a fielder's choice — the opportunity to score the go-ahead fifth run.
Stahlecker added an RBI single during the sixth inning as the Eagles advanced to the second round with a two-run victory. Brenn notched the win in the pitching circle.
Next, AHS dropped a 3-2 game to Tekamah-Herman. The Tigers scored the game-winning run during its two-run fifth inning.
Brenn struck out nine batters in defeat.
Then, lastly, Arlington played nine innings against DC West, falling 7-4. The Falcons forced extra innings with a sixth inning run before scoring three during the top of the ninth to win.
McIntosh had two Eagle RBIs during the loss, while Paige Kraemer notched three hits. Brenn through all nine innings, striking out seven in defeat.

AHS fell behind 3-0 through one inning and surrendered six runs during the fourth frame to fall by run-rule. The Eagles were outhit 10-3.
Brenn struck out four West Point batters.
