The Arlington High School boys basketball team won its second-straight game Tuesday, besting Omaha Gross on the road, 61-54.
Coach Jake Polk's Eagles trailed 41-39 going into the final 8 minutes, but prevailed with a 22-13 quarter. Owen Ladehoff iced the game down stretch, knocking down a 3-point basket at 55-49 before AHS built its lead further and held onto it from the foul line.
The victory pushed the Eagles to 4-5 after it had dropped to 2-5 in December.
Trent Koger led Coach Polk's team on the Cougars' home court, scoring 24 points with a 5-for-5 night from the charity stripe. Oliver Ladehoff continued his recent streak of high-scoring games with 19 against the Cougars, too.
Arlington's Owen Ladehoff and Schuyler Logemann, meanwhile, scored nine points apiece in the win as well.
Gross' Will Kroll scored 13 points as Gross dropped to 1-10 overall.
