Teams in matching uniforms competed Monday evening at the Two Rivers Sports Complex in Arlington.
The Maroon and White squads faced one another in age 10 and younger and 12U competition, playing out the all-Arlington date on their Tri-County Baseball League schedules. The 10U White team coached by Mike Monke came from behind to beat Ben Misfeldt's Maroon team in Didget League play, 9-4, before coach James Shada's White team topped Russ Quinn's Maroon in the Bronco Division.
In the 10U game, White team pitcher Brantley Fullner hit an inside-the-park homer to give his ballclub the lead. Leviathan Duley helped highlight the defensive effort, snatching a sharp liner out of the air at second base.
The 12U White team, meanwhile, trailed 4-1 after one inning, but came back to win. It is 4-3 this Tri-County season, while the Maroon squad is 3-5. The 10U White squad is 5-3 in the Didget League, while the Maroons are 2-6 with wins against the Logan View Blue and Bancroft/Lyons.
The Arlington Pony League team was 3-4 as of June 13. Oakland leads the 14-team standings with a 7-0 mark.
