Arla J. Klinghagen, 76

Posted

Arla (Bossman) Klinghagen was born Aug. 6, 1945, to Edward and Ardell. She triumphantly finished her earthly race and was joyously welcomed into heaven by her oldest daughter Robyn and many other loved ones on Monday, Dec.13, 2021. Arla was always known for her kind, loving, unassuming spirit but through her leukemia battle we also learned she is a fierce warrior. Two things remained constant throughout her life and into her battle: her resilient faith and her relentless love of family.

A devout wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma, who lived out her faith by humbly illustrating her selfless priority of God, family and others. If you’ve met her, then you’ve loved her.

Arla was the mother of four children, grandma to 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Despite her large family she always made time for everyone and had a way of making each person feel special. She and her eternally devoted husband of 58 years enjoyed traveling together, supporting their grandchildren in various activities and just simply “showing up.” She would proudly boast about any and all of her children and grandchildren whenever given the opportunity.

Arla is survived by her loyal husband of 58 years Rodney and their son-in-law Mark Motl, three daughters Tammy (Mike) Kermmoade, Christi (Dean) Boyer and Jodi (Ben) Borgmann, 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Arla was preceded in death by her oldest daughter Robyn, her two brothers Gary and Alan, her parents Edward and Ardell and many other cherished relatives.

Visitation was Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, from 5 - 7 p.m. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Memorial Service was Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Dugan Funeral Chapel.
