Anita Louise Schmidt, age 79, of Arlington, NE, passed away, Nov. 9, 2024, at her home.
Anita was born on Nov. 12, 1944, in Omaha, to Roger and Crystal (Thompson) Wright. She married Gary Schmidt on May 21, 1994, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s events and being with her family. Anita was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking.
She is survived by her husband, Gary; son, Roger (Jennifer) Bayliff of Fremont; daughters, Dawn (Cory) Styskal of Fremont, and Anjelica (Kamden) McChesney of Arlington; brothers, Roger (Katie) Wright, Mike (Jackie) Wright, Ed Wright, Ernie (Judy) Wright, and Clay (Jeanne) Wright; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Al Wright; and sister, Connie Wright.
The family invites everyone to a celebration of life from 2 PM until 5:00 PM, Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, at the VFW Hall in Arlington.
