Arlington High School wrestlers completed a busy six days Tuesday, competing for a third time during that stretch.
Coach Doug Hart's team split duals against Pender and Wisner-Pilger during the Gators' home triangular. AHS bested its host 48-18, but lost to the Pendragons by the same score.
Against Pender, Trevor Cooley, Hunter Gilmore and Josh Miller earned contested victories. Gilmore and Miller earned pins during the first round of their matches at 145 and 170 pounds, respectively, while Cooley earned his fall in 2:25 at 126.
In matches with Wisner, however, Trey Hill, Will Eppenbaugh and Miller earned wins. Hill's pin at 106 took just 1:49 before Eppenbaugh's took 1:42 at 152 pounds. Miller's was the quickest, though, as he pinned the Gators' Cesar Mares in 1:04.
