We’ve hit our stride this fall sports season in Washington County.
Athletes at Arlington, Blair and Fort Calhoun are delivering in competition and this is how Nannen & Harte Physical Therapy and Enterprise Media Group recognize those prep standouts.
These Athletes of the Week are just a few of the best, but it’s their time now. Please share this acknowledgement of their accomplishments with friends and family as we work toward Wednesday when the overall Washington County Athlete of the Week will be recognized with a video interview.

Kaden Foust, Arlington football: The quarterback accounted for 153 of the Eagles’ 191 offensive yards last Friday against Lincoln Christian. He ran for 146 of those yards, finishing one of his 22 carries with AHS’ lone score.
Nessa McMillen, Blair softball: A top Bears infielder, McMillen also delivered at the plate against Waverly last Thursday. Her 2-run homer proved to be the difference as BHS notched a 3-1 home win. Blair is 19-4 this season.
Lance Olberding, Fort Calhoun cross-country: The senior led the Fort Calhoun boys at the Yutan Invite, finishing first in 17:51.31. He also claimed fifth at the Blair Invite, clocking in at 17:51.31.
