The NSAA State Track and Field Championships begin Wednesday, so, as a result, your latest Nannen & Harte Physical Therapy Athletes of the Week are Class B qualifiers.
Congrats to Michael Maxon, Ted Lueders, Cadie Robinson and the rest of Washington County’s state participants.
Michael Maxon, Fort Calhoun track: The Pioneers stepped up this season, breaking 20 feet in the long jump multiple times and qualifying for state. He cleared 20-9 at districts.
Ted Lueders, Blair track: The senior Bear will cap his final high school season with three state events, including the individual 800-meter run. He’ll also join his teammates in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter relays.
Cadie Robinson, Arlington track: The senior Eagle qualified for state in both of her throwing events — shot put and discus. Her best shot put attempt at districts, 40 feet, 7.5 inches, won it.
