10 county wrestlers ranked by NSWCA

Ten Washington County wrestlers earned rankings in the most recent Nebraska Scholastic Wrestling Coaches Association (NSWCA) ratings released Dec. 16.
Of the 10 wrestlers, two Arlington Eagles earned No. 1 status. Hunter Gilmore was listed as the top wrestler in Class C's 145-pound ratings, while defending state champion Josh Miller was first at 170.
Arlington was also ranked No. 8 in the tournament team standings.
Fort Calhoun, meanwhile, had two competitors in the NSWCA ratings. Brothers Ely and Lance Olberding were Nos. 2 and 5 at 113 and 120 pounds, respectively.
Overall, Blair had six wrestlers in the Dec. 16 Class B ratings. It was also ranked as the No. 4 tournament team behind No. 1 Beatrice, No. 2 Gering and No. 3 Aurora, and the No. 6 dual team.
Jesse Loges, the Bears' 106-pounder, was his team's top-ranked wrestler at No. 2. Charlie Powers was No. 3 at 145 pounds, and Yoan Camejo (152 pounds), Dex Larsen (195) and Lance Hume (220) were all No. 4 in their weight classes.
BHS 182-pounder Braden Hanson was No. 5.
NSWCA ratings for Classes B and C are typically released every other week. New rankings with more recent results considered are expected soon.
